Among the butterflies they play,

Til one day,

A spirit appears in the corner of the hill

Where the Rainbow burns brightly

Eyes lit in recognition,

with dancing paws and a wagging tail,

And cries of delight,

In a pure rapture of Joy

The dog leaps into his human's arms

Where he is met with tears of longing

And kisses of gratitude.

They walk in wonderment over Rainbow Bridge

Side by side, together,

Never to be separated again.
